Audi will being production of the Audi A1 in October And now comes confirmation that Audi is finally going to kick off production of the A1 in October. The head of Audi’s Brussels plant – Alfons Dintner – has confirmed that the Audi A1 will start production in October after a five week shutdown in August to gear the Brussels plant up for production of the new A1. The new Audi A1 will start to hit European Showrooms in the early part of 2010.

Tesla is the midst of coast to coast rally from LA to New York

Just a few days after the last Tesla Superchargers were in place, allowing a coast to coast trip from Los Angeles to New York (via South Dakota), the company has decided to test this is practice. Chrysler eight-speed gearbox to boost big sedans' fuel economy

Chrysler Group says its new eight-speed automatic transmission will be the first offered on domestically produced automobiles and will boost fuel economy and cut emissions of the company's two full-sized, rear-drive sedans. The transmission initially will be available on 2012 Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers powered by Chrysler's 292-hp Pentastar V6 engine, the automaker said Thursday in a statement. The cars are being assembled and will start arriving in dealerships by Oct.
